SLIMBRIDGE DOWSING GROUP REPORTS (No. 100)

What if...?

Maria Wheatley

What if the Ancients were right, and everything really is interconnected after all? What if it’s really true, and they knew far more than we understand today?

We’ve been puzzling over the use and purpose of places such as Stonehenge, Avebury and Silbury Hill for two or three hundred years now, and we’re none the wiser.

And yet, our speaker on Saturday 25th October, Maria Wheatley, not only has some new theories to offer, but a lot of evidence too.

We’ve been looking at all these sacred sites individually, one at a time, but what if we look at the sacred landscape as a whole, and take a bird’s eye view of all the sites throughout Wiltshire and beyond?

If we take a map of southern England, and draw six concentric circles, each one incorporating at least one sacred site (some have two), and then draw a ley line connecting them all, guess what happens? The pattern and placement of the seven sacred sites echoes the pattern and placement of the seven planets as they would have been at the time the Ancients were building them.

If Silbury Hill - built of chalk blocks so possibly a pyramid - represents Planet Earth, and if Iron-Age Casterley Camp is Jupiter, if Saturn represents Stone Henge, and Adam’s Grave stands for Mercury, Avebury has to be Venus, and Uranus is Belas Knap, a long barrow near Winchcombe. There’s more. Hengistbury Head, a natural headland near Bournemouth in Dorset of great importance to the Ancients, echoes the location of the planet Neptune.

Interestingly, this list includes Uranus and Neptune, two of the three most distant planets that we thought we’d discovered in 1781 and 1846 respectively, but it looks as if the Ancients were ahead of us there as well. (Pluto didn’t show up until 1930.)

So it seems reasonable to assume not just individual sites are astronomically aligned, but all of them together are too. We know each site emits different energies. Just imagine the energies radiating throughout the entire landscape - the sacred landscape!

Maria Wheatley

If that’s the overview, what happens when you get up close and personal with the individual sites and even the individual stones? What effect do they have on us, on our bodies? We’re talking earth energies here, their ripple effect, parallel force fields, geodetic properties, most of which are discernible with dowsing rods. Some people feel them without!

So what are these energies doing to us as individuals when we stand in them and walk within them? Our lower bodies and our upper bodies? Because they are in horizontal layers too, all of which has been checked electronically with painstaking accuracy.

Our speaker Maria believes we are on the verge of an earth energy revolution. This is important because these energies can be beneficial, uplifting and positive, and we need to figure out how we can use that for our highest good.
